In a city where the “Big Man” was given all the glory, 5’9″ Grady High School Guard Jaelyn Smith plans to be the guy who will command all dignity of that title. After an eye opening Junior year, the Jaelyn has emerged as one of the best ball handling/distributing Guards in Atlanta. What coaches didn’t know, Jaelyn has the ability to score at will. His mid-range shot selection will give coaches fits during his Senior campaign and has the defensive footwork to lock up the opposition. With his aggressive agility and the size to draw contact from big defenders, Jaelyn will take a commanding role as a scoring threat, which will take his game to new heights. Balancing basketball and the classroom, his work ethic is at a professional level earning a 3.7 GPA while taking four AP courses. Success is his passion. His focus will be contagious to players around him at the next level. The one thing you will learn about Jaelyn Smith is that he not only talks the talk, on and off the court, his intelligence will lead a program to the path of success.
